Loving Yourself
“Before teaching you the basic principles that define us highly evolved beings, I will first ask you a question to see if you are ready,” Ruthorn began.
“Okay, I’m ready.”
“What do you think is the difference between those who have the opportunity to become highly evolved and those who don’t?” he asked.
“Oh! That sounds like an easy question but it’s hard to answer,” I admitted.
“Go on, give it a try!” Ruthorn encouraged me.
“Well, I would guess that the difference could be the status of their physical and mental energy, am I right?” I responded, applying what I had learnt from the breathing lessons he had taught me.
“Wrong.”
“Ouch, that’s bad, I already failed at the basic level.”
“Well, although you gave a wrong answer, you have still passed the test.”
“Oh, and why is that?” I replied as his answer confused me.
“The most important quality of a person who aspires to become a highly evolved being is that he or she must try to seek the answers to questions using his own thoughts, and to understand that it doesn’t matter if the answers are right or wrong. Attempting to ask and answer on your own is a basic quality of a highly evolved being. Those who receive a question and hope that someone else will give them the answer, or try to search for the answer in a book, or consult an expert, or even wait to receive the answer from the person asking the question, they do not demonstrate the right quality to become highly evolved. The desired objective is not to gain knowledge through external means but to ‘know’ by oneself, or, to put it differently, to gain knowledge through wisdom.”
“By seeking answers yourself, you are sending out your thought waves and frequencies in search for answers from the universe. If you have accumulated enough energy in the first stage, you’ll find the answers quickly and profoundly. But, on the contrary, if you don’t attempt to find the answers yourself, this means that you have shut off your system of sending thought waves from your brain. And once your system is shut off, it doesn’t matter where you get the correct answers from, you wouldn’t have acquired neither the energy nor the quality to develop yourself to a higher stage,” Ruthorn explained.
“This is why this quality is so important for you in order to advance yourself and become a highly evolved being. No one has ever succeeded by getting the knowledge from someone else. Even if you own thousands of books and can memorise every written line, if you don’t possess the ability to access the knowledge of the universe by yourself, you will never become one of us. Possessing this quality means that you already have more knowledge than that contained in all the books that exist in the world. There’s an infinite amount of knowledge in the universe, but you don’t have to know everything. You only have to know the method of how to use it whenever you want to,” Ruthorn paused before he continued.
“The next thing you have to implement is not to wait until someone asks you a question, but to constantly keep asking questions yourself. By doing this, you open your system to search for knowledge from the universe all the time. This desire for knowledge will continue to extend until you finally reach a state of understanding everything perfectly, or what the people in your world often call achieving the ultimate truth”.
“Anyone who applied and adopted this process is considered to be one of the world’s great men. Whatever they saw, they would immediately question its true nature. I use the term ‘true’ because it has a more profound meaning, far beyond the normal perceptual skills of an average person. To recognise the true nature of anything, it’s essential to apply the principles that I’ve explained before; which means to send out your question to the universe without judging anything through your feelings or emotions.”
“Well, now I think it’s time to start training you on the lessons that you need,” Ruthorn said. Then he leaned closer to me and asked in a very serious tone:
“After these past five days of listening and observing, can you tell me what is that one main factor for everything in the universe?”
“Hmm, let me think ….” I said hesitatingly, trying to win some time to find the best answer.
I paused to review everything he had told me in my mind.
“I think I’m ready to give you the answer now,” I said, after a few minutes.
“The answer is love, is that correct?” I answered.
“That’s correct,” Ruthorn said with a broad grin, obviously proud of his student. “I think you are now ready for the next lesson.”
“Many people in your world spend all their lives searching for the one answer, and then understanding it. Some of them found the answer at the end of their lives while others died without ever finding it. The principle of the relationship between love and everything else is the core of all things. This is embedded in every particle of the universe, from the smallest particle to the largest structure. And once you understand that everything contains the fuse-and-merge frequency, which we call the love frequency, and that this frequency holds everything together in the universe, what do you think you should do next?” Ruthorn looked at me expectantly.
“Well, I think I must become love, too,” I replied.
“Very good!” Ruthorn said, giving me an approving clap on the shoulder. Now you’re in the stage of doing. Prior to today, you have learned and understood this principle, but you have never applied it yet.”
“Apart from breathing deep and long all the time to prepare yourself in building up your physical and mental energy, the next thing is to start doing in the manner where love emanates from you all the time.”
“You will have to begin by setting the priority to give love to your soul, as this is the foundation of yourself. As you already know, there is another sentient entity embedded in the deepest part of your body. We can say that he is imprisoned because he used to be free once and could move everywhere in the universe, but since he became a volunteer soul assigned to work in the engine room of the universe, he had to live in the body that represents your being. He only acts as the master, or an owner of your body. For the movements of your body, your soul had divided a part of himself to take control. We usually call this divided part of the soul, the conscious mind or ego. When we are talking, for example, we are using the conscious mind. This embedded part of the soul can only perceive what we’re saying or doing but it can’t command or take control,” Ruthorn explained, while I attempted to follow and digest.
“The sentient entity that is embedded deep within you, and which we call the soul, or the superconscious mind, is your higher self. In your life up to now, before you start considering if you have ever given it love, you haven’t been aware of the fact that it resides within you. This higher self has been forgotten. And now, all you have to do in this process is to focus your thoughts on it, remember and embrace it with the awareness that it lives within you, and love it with all your heart. In some cultures and religions in your world, similar rituals to this already exist. They make everyone adopt this ritual of sending love several times a day, but the difference is that they don’t really think about this higher self during the ritual. They perform these rituals because someone has made this rule. They fear that they will commit a sin if they don’t follow the ritual, which means that they only do it out of fear, instead of trying to truly build a relationship with their higher selves.”
“To give love to your higher self, you have to do it at every waking moment, just like the breathing technique that I taught you. You shouldn’t focus on it or force yourself to do it either, but you should do it with a strong desire,” Ruthorn paused and gave me an intense look. “You have to set an intention to do it all the time. You must speak out aloud to yourself every day that you’re giving love to your higher self, and after a while it will become natural, without you having to make any effort.”
“When you follow this method, it doesn’t mean that all other rituals have to be stopped; you should practise them regularly and find time to do so at least five to 10 times each day. Sometimes if you find yourself in spiritual places like a church or a temple, these places can often help you to remember your soul, so don’t miss out on that opportunity. It will be much easier for you to get into a relationship with your inner self at those places and during those spiritual moments,” Ruthorn concluded.
