city with trade and exchange of goods and densely populated communities. The cause
of that crisis was unknown to anyone except the Buddha.”

“And what was the cause?” I asked immediately.

“Know this: whenever your world has moral decay, exploitation, and oppression of
people or fellow animals, resulting in a large amount of negative collective energy, the
world must face disasters in various forms, especially such a terrible disease. This is to
restrain or slow down the spread of that decay until it becomes a severe catastrophe.”

“Is it similar to what happened in my present-day world?” I interjected.

“The process is exactly the same in every way. But the difference is that in your time, it
will be caused by a deliberate mix of circumstances of certain groups of people, to
create higher pressure, causing greater hardship, until people are trapped more tightly.
And the scale of that crisis is much larger. If you compare that event to what is
happening in your present, it is hundreds of times larger. Because the oppression today
is more complex and widespread. The people who carry out the oppression hardly
have to exert any effort. What allows you to clearly measure the scale of this crisis is
that you can see the extreme inequality, such as the poor being so poor that they don’t
even have food to survive, which is different from the rich, who are so rich that they
can buy entire countries.”

“Why do such events have to happen at this time? How are they related, and who
determines them?” I asked.

“From your conversations with me and the various experiences you’ve had, what do
you think is behind these events?” Lord Phoche asked back.

“Higher beings like you?” I replied.

“Not entirely… only partially. Besides our role in slowing down the decay that tends to
spread, so that the world can continue to exist, we also push humans who can
communicate with us to take action at the same time. Because we cannot intervene
ourselves because it is against the laws of the universe, which prohibit too much

commented.

“Yes. Therefore, we need a clever strategy and ingenious tactics,” he replied.

“Do you think an ordinary person like me can do these things?” I asked.

on Earth is smarter than us and God. Please be at ease.”
